Maximum and Minimum

Maximum: An eight hour theatre performance of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby includes every word of the novel’s dialogue.

Minimum: A graphic novel (admittedly 1,300 pages in three volumes) digesting  the western canon from The Epic of Gilgamesh and the Old Testament, through Dante and Shakespeare to today.
